our values
sabzi’s principles
Sabzi was set up with a focus on providing guests with beautiful, vibrant, utterly delicious food that doesn’t compromise on the principles that are so important to us.
Meat and eggs will always be free range, and we are proud that our milk comes from Trink; a family owned and run farm and dairy where the cows enjoy 270 days a year outside, are only milked once a day and are reared to the highest organic welfare standards.
Fruit and vegetables will vary with the seasons and Sabzi will always work hard to reflect the wonderful produce of Cornwall, and the UK.
Our entire menu – sweet and savoury – is created in house, to Sabzi’s own recipes, and seeks to offer creative and delicious food. The beating heart of this business lies in Kate’s Iranian heritage, and Sabzi is proud to offer a taste of the Middle East to Cornwall.
Sabzi aims to reflect a sustainable, environmentally conscious approach to the food industry, and is choosing to pay more in order to buy high quality produce without single use plastic wherever possible. Every single piece of takeaway packaging is compostable and made from plant-based materials, right down to our branded labels. It can be composted, or will, at the very least, rot down and back to the earth it came from.
